Hotel industry growth spurs demand for Copeland Water cooled Units

The growth in construction of hotels in the Middle East can only be good news for Emerson. It's happening virtually all over – more and more hotels are going up in the UAE, Qatar , Bahrain , Oman and Egypt . This means, there is a spurt in the growth of target customers for Copeland water – cooled units.

The primary market for the water-cooled units in hotels comes through their use in freezers and cold rooms. The units are preferred in hotels owing to the availability of chilled water, which results in low condensing temperatures, leading to power savings. Air-cooled units are seen as an unaesthetic option, and as a result, give rise to installation issues.

As of now, the plan is to supply only the 50 Hz version of the units; the 60 Hz version can be supplied when required. Also, the condensing unit can be used for marine applications, after making a condenser source change.
